The 306th mission was successfully completed in Nepal

Bookmark and Share

Dear volunteers, colleagues, and friends,

The 306th medical relief mission was successfully completed in Nepal. The group returned safely to Taiwan on 5/10/15. Thank you to all the participants for the effort and hard work you put into running our free clinic.

A note of reminder:

On 5/9/15 around 2pm, we ended our last half-day clinic. Between that time and our 5:30pm dinner in Tianguang, we had around two hours of free time for an arranged visit to Kathmandu, an area with old palaces that were severely damaged by the earthquake. Some members took cheerful pictures like tourists, which was inappropriate and wrong considering the current misfortune and sorrowful situation in Nepal. We would like to again remind all participants to be more cautious.

Also, to all participants of the 306th Nepal Mission:

If you need a certificate of Appreciation (for personal or medical units) or clinic certifier, please reply and inform us at tradm@taiwanroot.org. For the Certificate of Appreciation, please also include the name and address of the recipient.

Peace and blessings,

Taiwan Roots Medical Peace Corps
